Torque Inserts

Reell’s standard and custom torque inserts are a novel positioning product that are designed to be press fit or over-molded in customer applications.  They use patented ReellTorq® clip technology to provide a smooth feel of quality and consistent torque over long life without the visible appearance of a hinge.

    TI-200 Series Torque Inserts

    Designed for plastic over-molding. Features asymmetric torque.
    Designed to be plastic over-molded, the TI-200 is available in two package sizes, with torques from 1.5-8.0 N-m (2.2-70.8 lb-in).  It features Reell's "differential" torque, which provides 100% of the specified torque in one direction and 60% of the specified torque in the opposite.  This makes it ideal for vertical positioning applications where gravity is acting upon the positioned object.
